There are a number of things that make the T.I.G.E.R.S (The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species) unique – one of them is that you can come across a number of animals coexisting peacefully. The institute is located in a sunny area within southern Florida.
Just like the name suggests, most of its residents happen to be tigers, but there are also other animals such as zebras, orangutans, among many other huge cats.
There also exist unlikely interspecies friendships – for instance one Labrador retriever who is a friend of a 4 ton African elephant. Their friendship started when Bella was being trained to swim by the zoo’s handlers. Bella the Labrador was using the back of Bubble to dive into the pool.
With time, they developed a very strong attachment and it’s common to see her hunch down so as to make it easier for Bella when she needs to climb up. She even cuddles with her friend when out of the pool and uses the trunk when petting her.
You can watch the clip below to witness more interesting things about their adorable friendship. If animals are capable of this, what about us as human beings?
